Fixing Your ZZZ Account

These are just some preliminary thoughts and ideas I have for what an account should look like in an ideal world. Ideally, you have pulled two Standard characters and have been able to pick up the best bits and pieces to pair along with what you have.

Obviously, we cannot turn back the clock to pull if we only just now pulled , but it is good to know. Perhaps a future Ice Attacker will be released to pair with .

What is a “Bricked Account?”

Bricked accounts make climbing Shiyu Defense much more difficult. Most players can skate by in other content with just a single team with smart resource inevstment, but for Shiyu, we are currently quite bottlenecked. As new rotations of Shiyu Defense come in, teams will be more constrained by Resistances.

With it being so early in the game’s life cycle, it’s difficult to say what to pull and what to keep an eye out on, since we have no reference for the speed at which Agents will be powercrept. In Genshin Impact, we had a much more lax cycle for replacement and encroachment of roles. In Honkai Impact: Star Rail however, we have a much higher velocity for unit strength.

What To Do?

Depending on which Standard Agents you have pulled so far, your team compositions can be shaken up quite a bit. With the release of Doe, our options have opened up much more for Anomaly/Disorder teams.

Alternatively, if you can pull , your account is extremely well off. , , and paired with the core are great. is able to replace the lackluster for a better Stun unit.

Pretty much every account with is able to happily grab and those who picked up are happy with .

being a Stun Agent is great, but she currently does not pair extremely well with any DPS particularly well. can likely stand in for in an Anomaly team, but this remains to be tested.

Again, pairs well with only at the moment. Other units like are able to replace the lackluster , and again is the target with . particularly struggles especially with at this current point in the life cycle of the game.
